BLACKSBURG, Va. (Sports Network) - Drew Dudzik rushed for a pair of touchdowns, including the eventual go-ahead 12-yard score early in the fourth quarter, as James Madison shocked 13th-ranked Virginia Tech, 21-16, at a rain-soaked Lane Stadium.
Dudzik finished 5-of-8 for 121 yards and a touchdown through the air while rushing for 35 yards for the Dukes (2-0), who topped Morehead State to begin the year.
Jamal Sullivan added a 77-yard TD reception.
Tyrod Taylor was 10-of-16 for 124 yards, one score and an interception for the Hokies (0-2), who opened the season on Monday with a 33-30 setback to Boise State. He added 86 yards on 13 carries.
Ryan Williams posted 91 rushing yards on 20 carries, Danny Coale caught three passes for 52 yards and Jarrett Boykin had a touchdown catch in defeat.
