Oklahoma State Announces 2010 Football Schedule

STILLWATER, Okla. – Home games with state rivals Tulsa and Oklahoma, and a Thursday night Big 12 opener against Texas A&M highlight the 2010 Oklahoma State football schedule, announced Friday.

The Cowboys will play seven home games in 2010 with an impressive list of opponents that include Washington State of Pacific-10 Conference, Troy, Tulsa, Texas A&M, defending Big 12 North champ Nebraska, Baylor and Oklahoma all visiting Boone Pickens Stadium.

The Cowboys open the season with four straight home games for the second straight year. Oklahoma State will host Washington State in the 2010 debut on Sept. 4 with contests against Troy (Sept. 11) and Tulsa (Sept. 18) following on consecutive Saturdays.

The Big 12 opener will be a Thursday night affair on Sept. 30 with Texas A&M visiting Stillwater for an ESPN game. That contest will be followed by an ESPN2 appearance on Oct. 8 when the Cowboys close non-conference play by visiting Louisiana-Lafayette for a Friday night contest.

OSU closes the season with seven straight weeks of play beginning Oct. 16 at Texas Tech. The following week, on Oct. 23, OSU will host Nebraska for Homecoming before traveling to Kansas State on Oct. 30. The Baylor Bears visit Stillwater on Nov. 6. The final road games of the season follow over the next two weeks with trips to Texas and Kansas.

The Cowboys will close the season Nov. 27 by hosting Oklahoma.
