FORT WORTH, Texas (Sports Network) - Ed Wesley carried the ball 28 times for 209 yards and two scores, as the fourth-ranked TCU Horned Frogs kept their perfect record intact with a 38-7 victory over the Air Force Falcons in Mountain West Conference play at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
Andy Dalton completed 11-of-20 passes for 185 yards, a touchdown, and an interception for the Horned Frogs (8-0, 4-0 MWC), who have won 21 straight regular-season games dating back to the 2008 season. Dalton also carried the ball seven times for 93 yards and a score.
Tim Jefferson connected on 3-of-7 passes for 47 yards for the Falcons (5-3, 3-2), who have lost two in a row since a three-game winning streak. Jefferson also carried the ball nine times for 39 yards and a score.
TCU opened the game with a seven-play, 71-yard drive that Dalton capped with a five-yard rushing TD. The Falcons fought right back with a 10-play, 89-yard march that Jefferson ended with a 16-yard rushing touchdown for a 7-7 game.
Ross Evans' 30-yard field goal put the Horned Frogs ahead by three, 10-7, with 6:03 remaining until half. On the next TCU possession, Jeremy Kerley capped a nine-play, 89-yard drive with an eight-yard TD catch for a 17-7 lead at the break.
The Horned Frogs put the game away with a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter. Wesley's eight-yard rushing TD with 6:33 to go made it a 24-7 game. Matthew Tucker's six-yard rushing touchdown at the end of the period gave TCU a 31-7 advantage.
Wesley's 13-yard touchdown run with 6:22 left in the fourth capped the scoring.
