SAN JOSE, Calif. (Sports Network) - Kellen Moore threw a pair of touchdown passes and Doug Martin rushed for two scores, as the third-ranked Boise State Broncos dominated the San Jose State Spartans, 48-0, in Western Athletic Conference action.
Moore completed 14-of-16 passes for 231 yards for the Broncos (6-0, 2-0 WAC), who have won 20 straight games, the nation's longest winning streak. Joe Southwick connected on 8-of-13 passes for 83 yards.
Martin carried the ball eight times for 68 yards and caught three passes for 53 yards. Titus Young ran for a score and hauled in seven passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.
Jordan La Secla completed 7-of-16 passes for 74 yards and a pick for the Spartans (1-6, 0-2), who have lost four in a row.
The Broncos scored on their third play of the game, as Martin rushed into the end zone from six yards out to make it 7-0.
On the next Boise State possession, Tommy Gallarda capped an eight-play, 84- yard drive with a 17-yard TD catch for a 14-0 lead.
After San Jose State went three-and-out, Young rushed into the end zone from 17 yards out to make it 21-0 after one quarter of play.
Following Harrison Waid's missed 36-yard field goal in the second quarter, Young caught a 43-yard touchdown pass to make it a 27-0 game with 5:16 to go. Aaron Tevis then picked off La Secla and raced 43 yards the other way for a score.
Jeremy Avery's two-yard rushing touchdown before the half made it 41-0.
Martin's four-yard rushing TD on the first possession of the third quarter proved to be lone score of the second half.
